BAUNEI COAST

Esperienza unica nella Costa di Baunei: tour in gommone con skipper tra Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala, Cala Luna e soste bagno in acque turchesi come Cala Goloritzè!

Our Rubber boat excursion with a skipper is conducted with a maximum of 12 passengers on an approximately 8-meter inflatable boat. This excursion allows you to fully and personally admire the enchanting coast of Baunei and the Gulf of Orosei.

Coves and caves frame this extraordinary journey in an untouched corner of Sardinia, where high cliffs rich in flora and fauna reflect in the turquoise waters, and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub carried by the sea breeze create a relaxing sensation.

It is a full-day trip that allows passengers to admire and photograph all the beaches, caves, and the most picturesque corners of the coast up to Cala Luna.
There will be long stops at the most beautiful and famous beaches of the Gulf: Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, and Cala Biriala.
Our excursion also includes two short stops at anchor for swimming from the boat, allowing you to admire the marine flora and fauna; the schedule includes brief stops in the waters off Cala Goloritzé and the Pools of Venus.

In any case (safety, bad weather, etc.), the skipper of Tortuga Excursioni has the authority to modify, at their sole discretion, both the stops and the duration of the stops, without any entitlement on the part of the passengers for a refund of the travel tickets.
In our box at the port you can pay the Environmental contribution introduced by the Municipality of Baunei, the cost is €3 (€1 per beach)

Departure – 9:00 AM (8:30 AM in August)

Our journey begins at 9:00 AM from Santa Maria Navarrese (departure is moved to 8:30 AM in August). Shortly after setting sail, we admire the towering cliffs of Pedra Longa, the pristine Baus Beach, and the striking Grotta dei Colombi. We then pass Capo Monte Santo, navigating towards the secluded coves of Portu Cuau and Portu Pedrosu.

First Stop – Cala Mariolu (1h 30m)

Our first beach stop is at the breathtaking Cala Mariolu, where we will stay for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Here, you can relax on its smooth white pebbles, take a swim in the vibrant turquoise waters, and capture incredible photos of this paradise.

Swimming Stop – Pools of Venus or Escorianna

Back on board, we make a brief swimming stop at anchor near the Pools of Venus, a spectacular natural lagoon. Depending on conditions and the skipper’s discretion, the stop may instead take place in the idyllic bay of Escorianna.

Second Stop – Cala Luna

After our swim, we continue towards Cala Luna, one of the most iconic beaches of the Gulf of Orosei, where you can enjoy the scenery and crystal-clear waters.

Third Stop – Cala Biriala (1h 30m)

At 2:30 PM, we set sail for Cala Biriala, where guests can enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes of pure relaxation on its golden sands, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.

Return Journey & Final Swim – Cala Goloritzé

As we head back, there’s still time for one last swim from the boat in the stunning waters of Cala Goloritzé, one of the most photographed spots in Sardinia. You’ll also have the chance to capture a few final photos of the breathtaking landscape.

Arrival – 5:00 PM

After a full day of discovery, we return to Santa Maria Navarrese around 5:00 PM, closing an unforgettable experience along the wild and beautiful coastline of the Gulf of Orosei.
